Through her project, Matriarchy, she actively supports and promotes women DJs, contributing to a more balanced and representative music scene while creating new opportunities for visibility, collaboration, and exchange.
Guilty Pressure Soundsystem is a new collective of artists and sound engineers from Timișoara, aiming to bring fresh energy to the local dub music scene. While rooted in dub culture, their contribution to City Celebration goes beyond music itself, evolving into a shared space where different communities, practices, and people come together under one umbrella — Guilty Corner.
The concept draws inspiration from Jamaican culture, where “the corner” functions as an informal community gathering spot, a place where people meet, exchange stories, listen to music, talk about everyday life, or trade goods and ideas. But the corner also carries a deeper symbolic meaning. It is where relationships are built, local culture takes shape, and collective identity emerges.
